Cowboy Mounted Shooting has easily become one of the most rapidly growing family equestrian club and sport in the USA.

 Mounted Shooting is similar to barrel racing with balloons in between the barrels. The rider shoots black powder blank cartridges from two .45 caliber pistols, at balloons, and is scored on accuracy and time. Participants must dress in clothing replicating the 1880's, making this a thrilling sport for spectators, as well.

Buckles will be awarded for move ups to members of Eastern Iowa CMSA. Eastern Iowa CMSA must be your home club to be eligable and the move-up win must be at an EICMSA Shoot. You will be able to win one move up buckle a year. Click Here for more information on the Award Buckles!
